The intestinal disease known as coccidiosis caused by protozoan parasites of genus Eimeria is one of the most economically devastating diseases in the poultry industry world-widely. Of all species of Eimeria, Eimeria tenella was one of the most ubiquitous and the most pathogenic for chicken. The drug resistance has caused great losses to the production, and it has been the biggest barrier to control the coccidiosis in chicken.Currently, the prevalence of chicken coccidiosis has not been reported in the Linyi, In order to find the infection of coccidia in Linyi, chicken’s fresh feces was collected from the following counties in chicken farm. The infection percentage was79%. Oocyst collected by the up-and-down method was identified morphologically.The results showed that all of the seprated ooganium were subordinates in Eimeria. We improved the single-occyst technology on previous experiment to obtain purely-bred occyst of Eimeria. tenella. In order to observe the shape and color of the oocysts and measure the size of the oocysts, we collected the feces from the chicken farm in Linyi. Experiment animal were inoculated with the isolated and propagated the coccicial oocysts. Then the symptoms and pathological changes were observed, Synthesize analyzing showed that those Coccidia were confirmed to be E. tenella, E. acervulina, E. maxima, E. necatrix, And E. tenella is the major genus in the chicken farm. Among the isolated occysts, The total percentage of E.tenella is52.31%. The Coccidia had violated the appendices of the chicken, cause anemic, emaciated and even die. Sickening chicken gave priority to15-40-day-old chicken.Four drugs(Sulfachloropyrazine sodium, Diclazuri, Halofuginone, Toltrazuril, Decoquinate,Amproliu) were selected to investigat the anticoccidial drug susceptibility of14-day-old chicken. Four gades of the sensitivity of drugs, ineluding sensitive(S), light resistant(LR), middle resistant(MR)and complete resistant(CR) we reassessed by relative oocyst production(ROP), reduetion of lesion scoreS(RLS), Pereent of optimum antieoeeidial activity(POAA), and antieoeeidial index (ACI). The experiment results revealed, They were empletely resistant to Sulfachloropyrazine sodium and Diclazuril, middle resistant to Halofuginone and Decoquinate, Therefore, the coccidiosis couldn’t be controlled with these drugs, and highly sensitive to Amprolium and Toltrazuril,so it was recommended to select firstly in practical application in chicken farm.
