In this paper, simulated experiment about snapdragon’s growth in greenhouses of University was conducted to build models about leaf area, leaf dry matter content and appearance quality by collecting relevant data. The study would provide support for snapdragon’s production in greenhouse. The main results are as follows:1、Prediction of snapdragon’s growth in greenhouseWe predicted time that the snapdragon needed to complete growth based on PTEP. After observing how many days the snapdragon needed to grow up, we used regression formula to calculate the error between observations and predictions. The result were2.1,3.1and2.8d, which the determinate coefficient was0.97. This showed that predicted value is quite similar with observed value, which also proved that the predict model had a high prediction based on PTEP and it could provide support for optimizing production by controlling light and temperature.2、Prediction of snapdragon’s leaf area in greenhouse.We predicted growth rate and leaf length of snapdragon based on PTEP, and calculated leaf area by the formula LA=LL2×Am. We also got a observed value, the determinate coefficient of two values were0.95. The error calculated between observations and predictions was0.65. This showed that the leaf area index could accurately predicted by model which built on PTEP. The model considered the effect of temperature, photosynthetically active radiation and light on leaf area of snapdragon and it could provide support for controlling production and appearance quality of snapdragon.3、prediction of leaf dry matter productionWe predicted growth rate and leaf length of snapdragon based on PTEP, the determinate coefficient and error was0.9and0.15g·m-2. the accuracy of prediction under PTEP was64.2%higher than which under photosynthesis. So, the simulation model of leaf dry matter under PTEP could accurately predict change of leaf dry matter content, which provide support for building quality model of snapdragon.4、Prediction of snapdragon’s quality in greenhouse.We predicted the height and stem diameter based on PTEP, the determinate coefficient of predict value and measured value were0.97and0.98. the model had a high prediction of snapdragon’s appearance quality. According to reaction of snapdragon’s appearance quality on light, the study build predicted model for snapdragon’s appearance quality which based on PTEP. The model could accurately predict the quality index of snapdragon. The error between predict value and measured value were5.5%and5.9%. The model provides support for optimizing appearance quality of snapdragon.
