In order to know the characteristics of soil water transportation of Zizyphts jujubaforest in Akesu area, south of Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region, rate of the water downpermeation, depth of water contained soil, and irrigation cycle were measured by EM50soil temperature and humidity meter monitoring in flood irrigation and furrow irrigationconditions, respectively. The results showed that:(1) When DBH of Z. jujuba is3cm,9cm and12cm, soil water transverse humidinterval and vertical humid interval were difference under the different irrigation water inthe conditions of flood irrigation. The depth of water contained soil in horizontal directionand vertical direction were (0cm,-60cm),(0cm,-80cm),(0cm,-100cm), when thequantity of water supply was80m~3,120m~3, and160m~3per acreage for3cm tree, respectively. The depth of water contained soil were (0cm,-80cm),(0cm,-100cm),(0cm,-120cm), when the quantity of water supply was80m~3,120m~3, and160m~3peracreage for9cm tree, respectively. The depth of water contained soil were (0cm,-40cm),(0cm,-80cm),(0cm,-100cm), when the quantity of water supply was80m~3,120m~3,and160m~3per acreage for18cm tree, respectively. Under the different irrigation water, the maximum soil water content was in-20cm,-30cm, and-40cm soil layer when thequantity of water supply increased, respectively. With the increase of irrigation water per40m~3per acreage jujube rose by an average of20cm of soil moist interval.(2) In the conditions of furrow irrigation, the depth of water contained soil inhorizontal and vertical directions were (60cm,-100cm),(80cm,-120cm),(120cm,-140cm), when the quantity of water supply was80m~3,120m~3, and160m~3per acreage for Z.jujuba DBH is3cm, respectively. The depth of water contained soil were (80cm,-100cm),(100cm,-120cm),(140cm,-160cm) for Z. jujuba DBH is9cm.(3) During the flood irrigation, the mean rate of the water down permeation was3.74min/cm. In the process of irrigation, The relationship among the depth of water containedsoil(Y), quantity of water supply(X1), and irrigation time(X2) was indicated asY=0.347X1+0.364X2-65.538. During the furrow irrigation, the mean rate of the waterdown permeation was24.78min/cm. Within the time of irrigation process, The relationshipamong the depth of water contained soil(Y), quantity of water supply(X1), and irrigationtime(X2) was indicated as Y=-0.115X1+0.119X2+34.645.(4) In the process of moisture loss, flood irrigation and furrow irrigation ways ofmoisture loss is gradually upward from deep loss, surface-20cm to60cm depth of soil moisture content at the end of the water after a few days ago has kept above0.26, and thered daub for keeping moisture effect is quite obvious. Basin irrigation mode of surface soilharden phenomenon, is not conducive to root growth and development.(5) During the flood irrigation, When the quantity of water supply increasing40m~3peracreage, the irrigation cycle would increasing2~4d, corresponding. During the furrowirrigation, When the quantity of water supply increasing40m~3per acreage, the irrigationcycle would increasing4~6d, corresponding.(6) With the quantity of water supply increasing, the consumption water of jujube treewas increase. But the consumption of flood irrigation was higher than that of furrowirrigation. With increasing of tree diameter, its water consumption was increase. During thequantity of water supply increasing the ΔH should not increase in flood irrigation, and ΔHshould decrease when the quantity of water supply was60m~3per acreage respectively. This showed that a lot of moisture due to gravity the role of water is not retained within thesoil level, but to the deep infiltration. By contrast furrow irrigation to water infiltration rateand the fully saturated soil moisture content is more outstanding.
