Asparagus belongs to the Liliaceae and asparagus genus. The edible part of asparagus isthe tender spear, which has abundant medicinal and nutritious component. Because freshasparagus is high in water content and active in respiration, which can cause intensemetabolism. So the main problems appeared in storage are lignification and loss inquality. The problem in storage inhibits the development of national and international market.Preserving green asparagus is significant for improving market competitiveness, reducing costand raising effectiveness.PE and photosynthetic modified atmosphere box were compared to determine a betterpackaging mode. When determining photosynthetic modified atmosphere box is better, gascomposition in the Photosynthetic Modified Atmosphere box was adjusted. Normal gascomposition used as the control, the nutritional quality and sensory quality changes of greenasparagus were studied.Compared with the normal atmosphere cold storage, quality changes of green asparaguswere investigated under hypobaric storage condition. On the basis of determining hypobaric storage condition, the effects of postharvesttreatment technical on regulating the senescence of green asparagus were studied.Compared with PE and photosynthetic modified atmosphere box(normal gas),the resultsindicated that gas composition(15%CO2+10%O2+75%N2) could inhibit respiratory intensityand ethylene production, delay the degradation of nutritional components such as solublesolid, vitamin C, soluble protein, chlorophyll, lessen the damage of cell membrane and theaccumulation of malondialdehyde, decrease the increasing speed of cellulose and senescenceindex, improve commodity rate, keep better effect of storage and prolong the storage period to50day.Compared with direct cold storage and hypobaric storage(Vaccum dgree is0.02MPa),thetreatment with1ppm1-MCP under hypobaric storage (Vaccum dgree is0.02MPa) couldobviously improve the effect of keeping green asparagus fresh. The storage period is50day.The experiment indicated gas composition (15%CO2+10%O2+75%N2) in photosynthetic modified atmosphere box is the best.
