Analysis on technical broken-up is one of important contents of pesticide register products chemistry. It’s in relation to whether the quantity of pesticide products and drug effect is bad or good. It’s also in relation to pesticide toxicity and whether its effect producing on environment is safe. Further more, it’s in relation to the reliability and factuality of pharmacological, toxicological experiment and environmental test.Propoxur is a kind of non-systemic carbamate pesticide, with characteristics of contact toxicity, stomach toxicity, fumigation activity and long residual activity. Thiodicarb, whose insecticidal activity has a high similarity with methomyl, is the low toxicity product of methomyl and well used as the substitute of methomyl in the case of methomyl is forbidden.The chemical structure of two technicals were characterised by MS, NMR, UV and IR spectrum, and the qualitative and quantitative analysis method of impurities in two technicals were also emphatically researched. The two technicals and its impurities in Propoxur and Thiodicarb technical were identified by LC-MS. The possible configuration of impurities were deduced from mass spectrum and the standard of impurities synthesised.For the first time, ten possible compounds mentioned above were prepared by chemical methods. The structure of the corresponding compounds were identified. By comparing the LC-MS spectrum of possible compounds and that of the impurities in technical, it was indicated that the structure information was consistent.First of all, ten possible compounds mentioned above were synthesized by chemical method and identified respectively. The comparison result of LC-MS spectrum between synthetic compounds and the impurities in technical indicated that the structure information was consistent. Secondly, by comparing the retention time of the compounds with the impurities, the main impurities in Propoxur technical were conformed as following: Impurity Ⅰ:1,3-dimethylurea; Impurity Ⅱ:2-methoxyphenyl methylcarbamate; Impurity Ⅲ:1-isopropoxy-2-methoxybenzene; ImpurityⅣ:2-isopropoxyphenyl methyl(methylcarbamoyl)carbarnate; Impurity Ⅴ:1,2-diisopropoxybenzene. The main impurities in Thiodicarb technical were conformed below: Impurity Ⅰ:methomyl; Impurity II:Pyridine Hydrochloride; ImpurityⅢ. Thiodicarb (E,Z); ImpurityⅣ:Thiodicarb (E,E); Impurity Ⅴ:sulphur.Finally, the quantitative method of Propoxur,Thiodicarb technical and its main impurities were set up by means of the optimization of chromotoph condition...
