Currently, less research on plant bacteriostasis is carried out in green space configurationof botanical garden in villages and towns environment. Therefore, bacteriostatic function andability of different tree species and plant community of main street and garden greening wasinvestigated and the different configuration mode of plant community at Liubu town insouthern mountain area of Jinan were also analyzed in the middle of May, June, July, October,2012to provide a scientific basis for the construction of rural landscape protection forest. Themain results were as follows:(1)The number of bacteria in the air and the bacteriostatic rate in the road forests andrecreation forests were related to temperature, humidity, light intensity, dust content, negativeion content environmental factors, etc. Among them, bacteriostatic rate of the road forests andrecreation forests was positively correlated with air temperature, air relative humidity andnegative ion content and was negatively correlated with light intensity and no significantcorrelation with dustiness. Air bacteria content in forest land, the bacteriostatic rate, dynamicchange, seasonal dynamic changes was closely related to the dynamic change of variousenvironmental factors also, air bacteria content and bacteriostasis rate in one day appear highin the morning and evening, middle low dynamic change trend.(2) The order of average bacteriostasis rate of each of the4road forest types inobservation was: cedar euonymus japonicus forest> biota orientalis pure forest> Sabinachinensis pure forest> The willow tree pure forest. The order of average bacteriostasis rate ofvarious recreational forest types in observation was: privet lobular privet forest> The almondtrees pure forest> Ginkgo biloba pure forest> chinar pure forest. Among various types ofwoodland air bacteria content and bacteriostasis rate had significant difference.(3) By the end of July2012, bacteriostatic ability of eight species such as the cedar,Sabina chinensis, willow, arborvitae, privet, sycamores, ginkgo, and a large leaf huang Yangwith indoor water culture of green branch were determined. The results showed that the orderof bacteriostatic ability of eight species was: cedar (64.31%)> arborvitae (64.31%)> sabina chinensis (53.59%)> ginkgo (49.95%)>privet (46.41%)> chinar (42.87%)(35.69%)>willow> lobular privet (28.51%). Overall, conifer bacteriostatic ability was greater than thebroad leaved tree species, evergreen tree species was greater than the deciduous species. Theresult had to do with tree species of different volatile content and volatile ingredient.(4) Determination of volatile organic compounds of cedar, sabina chinensis, willow,arborvitae, privet, sycamores, ginkgo, and lobular privet was made with solid phasemicroextraction method. The order of bacteriostatic and bactericidal volatile content andvolatile ingredient of eight species was: cedar> arborvitae> sabina chinensis> ginkgo privet> privet> chinar> willow> lobular privet. overall, the bacteriostatic and bactericidal volatilecontent of conifer was higher and the volatile ingredient of conifers was more complicatedthan that of broadleaves. The order of bacteriostatic and bactericidal volatile content andvolatile ingredient of eight species using solid phase microextraction method was in accordwith bacteriostatic ability of eight species determined with indoor water culture of greenbranch methode.(5)The research results indicate that bacteriostatic efficacy of forest depended on not onlytemperature, humidity, light intensity, dust content, the combination of anion, and otherenvironmental factors, but also the composition of the trees of the forest types, configurationmethod and its growth situation and so on. Comprehensively, conifer had the strongestantibacterial ability. Antibacterial effect of multiple storied stands composed with abor andshrub was better than pure forest.This study revealed the relationship between the bacteriostatic effect of village landscapeprotection forest and various environmental factors, plant configuration mode and dynamicchange rule. The bacteriostatic ability and release of volatile organic compounds of8species of tree species under the condition without external interference factors weremeasured. Bacteriostatic effect of good individual tree species and forest types were selected.The result provided scientic theory for building protection forest of rural landscape.
