| This research was conducted to study the effects of different ratio between wholemaize silage and peanut vine on rumen digestionã€production performance andnitrogen utilization of dairy cows, which was composed by3trials. The different ratiobetween whole maize silage and peanut vine (DM content ratio) were:3.9,1.2and0.4.Trial1To study the effect of different ratio between whole maize silage and peanutvine on rumen degradability of peanut vine in dairy cows, four healthy ChineseHolstein dairy cows fitted with permanent rumen cannula were selected to feed thedifferent rations. They had the similar body weight and were in the samephysiological status and production performance. The trial was divided into threeperiods, cows were fed with diet A, B, C in period â… , â…¡, â…¢. The trail lasted57d,each period had19d (15d pre-trial period and4d degradation period). Using thenylon bag technique to estimate the DM, CP, NDF and ADF degradability of peanutvine in72h and figure out its dynamic degradation parameters and effectivedegradation rate according to the mathematical model. The result showed that thepeanut vine had high feeding value and development potential while its DM, CP,NDF and ADF degradability were56.49%~59.62%,40.45%~47.36%,33.26%~35.20%,36.30%~37.45%. The diet B could promote the degradability ofDM (P<0.01) and CP (P<0.05), while had no significant influence on thedegradability of NDF (P>0.05) and ADF (P>0.05). Trial2This trial was conducted to study the effect of different ratio between wholemaize silage and peanut vine on rumen pH value and VFA content. Four healthyChinese Holstein dairy cows fitted with permanent rumen cannula were selected tofeed the different rations. They had the similar body weight and were in the samephysiological status and production performance. The trial was divided into threeperiods, cows were fed with diet A, B, C in period â… , â…¡, â…¢. The trail lasted57d,each period had19d (15d pre-trial period and4d sample period0. In the sampleperiod, collect the rumen fluid sample3times every day according to the schedule tomake sure all the sample times were distributed uniformLy in24h. The main resultsshowed that the increase of peanut vine could increase the pH minimum valueextreme significantly (P<0.01) and the content of acetic acid (P<0.01), butyrate(P<0.01), acetic acid/(propionic acid+butyrate)(P<0.05) and acetic acid/butyrate(P<0.01) while the content of propionic acid decreased significantly (P<0.05).Trial3To study the effects of different ratio between whole maize silage and peanutvine on production performance, milk composition, nitrogen emission, bloodparameters and profits,12Chinese Holstein dairy cows with similar milk yield, parityand weight were chosen for this trial. They milked about20kg/d and were assignedrandomLy into3groups. The trial was set up as a3×3Latin square design anddivided into3periods. Each period had21d (15d pre-trial period and6d trial period). The main results show as follows. The different diets had no significant influence onDMI, production performance, milk composition, nitrogen emission and bloodparameters of dairy cows. The diet B and diet C could enhance the organism immunecapacity and improve the profits of the farm. The diet B could improve the milkcomposition (P>0.05) while the diet C could rise the fecal nitrogen/nitrogen intake(P<0.05). |
