China is one of the world’s largest cotton producing country, And Xinjiang is the largest of China’scotton producing region。Because the lager of cotton planting area, more concentrated of cotton harvest andthe low level of cotton picker mechanization, every year a lot of cotton can not be got harvest timely. Socotton harvester mechanization and automation is the basic way to further improve the level of cottonproduction and the income of cotton farmers. Currently the level spindle cotton picker is the mainly inXinjiang, its expensive, and some parts of the core technology is a national monopoly. So a model cottonpicker can not fully meet the production demand of Xinjiang region. Compared to foreign countries,domestic comb-type cotton harvester have greatly improved in terms of harvest table, blower conveyor andcleaning device. But the impurity rate of picking cotton is still high relatively, it is still needed to furtherimprove the ability of cleaning. In this paper, by modern mechanical design and analysis method, it is toresearch comb-type table with cleaning device, increase cleaning equipment. Form a complete set of seedcotton cleaning device, it is to improve the cleaning ability of cotton picker machine.The main contents are as follow:Based on the structural characteristics and working principle of the comb-type cotton harvester,analysis of the cleaning features of barbed nail roller, serrated roller and bush cotton roller. Combining withthe characteristics of the comb-type picker table, it is to determine Qing miscellaneous scheme. It is todesign the overall and main working parts of the comb-type table with cleaning device, as well as cottonauger and drive system. The main working parts include: the vibrating mechanism of comb-type, barbednail roller, serrated roller and bush cotton roller.It is using Solidworks3D software to build the three-dimensional model of every working part, for thewhole assembly, interference checking, motion simulation analysis and parameters detection of key parts.With motion simulation software ADAMS, it is to analysis the trajectory, vertical displacement and linearvelocity of the vibrating mechanism of comb-type, to meet the design requirements.It uses orthogonal rotation combination to design test program, selected forward speed, serrated rollerspeed and barbed nail roller speed multiple factor experiments, with the response variables of the net rateand the impurity rate. According to experimental results, it is to determine mathematical model betweeninfluence factors and response index, with the Design-Expert8.05b software. With the second-orderresponse surface optimization, it analyzes the influence factors of harvesting performance and its optimalrange. So forward speed:2.1~3.0km/h, the serrated roller speed:220~268r/min,and barbed nail rollerspeed:263~332r/min.Using the Design-Expert8.05b optimization solution, it gets the optimal parameter combination ofvariable range:1-5program. It makes the operating parameters of comb-type picker table to get integratedoptimization.In this paper, the comb-type table with cleaning device make the seed cotton cleaning up, increasedthe cleaning equipment. The results of this study have guiding significance for designing the comb-typecotton table, at the same time it is to improve a research direction for improving the quality of thecomb-type cotton picker machine operation.
