| According to distribution, zone and feeding scale of cows in Yuzhong County of Gansu Province,25dairy cow farms and household feeding cows were selected to investigate the problems on cowproduction at Xiaguanying, Jinai, Chengguan, Xiaokangying, Lianda, Dingyuan, Heping, Laizibu,Qingshuiyi, Gancao, Gaoai, Xinyin, Yinshan and so forth in Yuzhong County. The investigationmethods were the questionnaire, spot question as well, referring cases as well as discussing with localtechnician. The aims were to understand main cow diseases and clinic drug using in cow production ofYuzhong County, including applied drugs in clinic, their curative effect, existing problems and somerequirements of local technician so as to offer scientific data for developing special medicaments ofdairy cows and constructing the supervision and management system of safety production of dairy cowsin Yuzhong County.By investigating, the incidence of familiar diseases at the different growing phase of dairy cows wasdifferent, the calf was15.8%, young cow was7.67%, adult cow was26.75%. In all disease, the proportionwas different, the percentage of internal medicine disease was58.72%, the percentage of obstetric diseasewas25.63%, the percentage of surgical disease was9%, the percentage of infectious disease was3.45%,the percentage of parasitic disease was3.2%. The order of incidence of single disease from high to lowwas mastitis, diarrhea, cold, proventriculus flaccid, endometritis, dyspepsia, umbilical cord，retention ofafterbirth, rumen accumulation, ketosis, limb and hoof disease, acariasis and rumen acidismus. The orderof cure rate from low to high was alcohol masculine milk, uterine prolapsed, dystocia, rumen acidismus,paralysis afterbirth, mastitis, diarrhea, endometritis, rumen accumulation, rumen expending.The all90different kinds of drugs were used in the investigated dairy cow farms or household. Amongthem, most of the antibacterial drugs and Chinese traditional medicine were more than other drugs, thesemedicine were60kinds, accounted for66.67%in the total. The antibacterial drugs included all kinds ofantibiotics and compound antibacterial, in which, the single prescription antibacterial drugs were25kinds,mainly were penicillin, cephalosporin, acheomycin, amido-indican, sulfanilamide and so on; the combinationdrugs were15kinds, mainly were sulfanilamide and quinoidine;20kinds of Chinese traditional drugs,12kindsof Chinese traditional medicine powder,8kinds of water injection of Chinese traditional medicine extraction.50kinds of medicines were used to treat mastitis and endometritis,38kinds of them were bacteriophage,12kinds were Chinese traditional medicine extraction. All of the dairy cow farms and household which wereinvestigated can’t discard the milk contaminated drugs and use medicine logically. The using of unreasonabledrugs and non-standard discarding milk were serious phenomena in cow production of Yuzhong County,including the milk which should be discarded can’t be thrown away, the milk was discard but not in statedperiod, the milk that was contaminated forbidden drugs in lactation period can’t be thrown away. |
