Application of automatic transmission in car is more, the auto shift schedule research isrelatively mature, and the shift schedule of tractors at home and abroad study is less, thecomplex working conditions for tractor, pilot shift frequency, load change is bigger, so can’tsimply shift schedule of the car to the tractor, if the tractor is equipped with automatictransmission, it will greatly reduce the driver’s labor intensity, improve productionefficiency, improve fuel economy of the tractor. A key part of the automatic transmissionsystem control module is, however, shift schedule and its quality will directly influence onthe performance of the automatic transmission shift, thus affect the tractor performance, fueleconomy and comfort. Therefore, tractor transmission characteristics, this paper researchand analysis, in order to best power performance and fuel economy as objective todetermine the tractor shift schedule.Through to the engine speed, load and speed control characteristic analysis, get theengine working efficiency of the main influence factors, and to establish the dynamics ofthe engine, tractor clutch and gearbox and other parts of the corresponding mathematicalmodel.Tractor engine power performance and fuel economy are analyzed, and set out toestablish shift schedule dynamic performance and fuel economy shift schedule, the methodof tractor traction efficiency and its influencing factors are analyzed, with Shanghai,50tractor as an example, determines the driving force, speed and throttle opening for threecontrol parameters of the overall shift schedule, research get near when the tractor enginetorque in the calibration work, its power performance and fuel economy is better.Research dynamics model of tractors, tractor kinematics equation is established and thesimulation model was established based on Matlab/SimuLink tools. Shift schedule controlmodel is established, through the input parameters of throttle opening, driving force andspeed, choose fuel economy performance module or modules, and then judge whether needto shift.Finally of tractors, two kinds of typical working conditions (field and road transportoperations) are simulated, the simulation results verify the validity of the tractor shift, theshift schedule can make tractor in the field operations to meet performance requirements,meet the requirements of fuel economy in road transport operations.
