DHI was a job to cow lactation performance and milk composition measurement work, also calledMilk recording system. SCC is one of the important indexes of DHI, It is an important index to measure thequality of milk and cow breast health. In order to offer reference of reduce SCC, increase the whole milkyield, Increase economic benefit, we analyses DHI report of scale cattle farms in the northern region ofxinjiang. In order to investigate the effect factors for the Somatic Cell Score (SCS), and3169test-monthrecords of four herd farms from November2010to March2011. The effect of four factors (including thefarm, the parity, the calving season and the lactation month) on SCS was analyzed by SAS8.1GLM. Theresults showed that effect of farm and parity had highly significant (P<0.01) for SCS, calving season andlactation month were not significant (P>0.05) for SCS. Trend growth of SCS was following with the parityand lactation month. In practice, stabilized feeding and management and good measure of disease controland prevention could reduce SCS effectively and prevent bovine mastitisIn order to study correlation between somatic cell count (SCC) and Milk production traits in Holsteincows, collecting2268test-month records of Dairy Herd Improvement (DHI) from four herd farms betweenNovember2010and March2011. The correlation of SCC and milk traits was analyzed by SPSS system. The results showed that the correlation coefficient of SCC had significantly negative correlation (P<0.05)for test-day production, highly significantly positive correlation (P<0.01) for milk fat percentage, milkprotein percentage, and highly significantly negative correlation (P<0.01) for lactose percentage; Thecorrelation coefficient of the percentage of milk fat and protein had highly significantly positive correlation(P<0.01). These results indicated that the test-day production and lactose percentage has reducedinordinately with the increase of SCC; the trend growth of milk fat percentage and milk protein percentagewas heaving following the increase of SCC, but when the somatic cell count higher than100million in onemilligram, they have a declining tendency.
