Effect Of TCM "Duwenqing" On Production Performance And Immune Function Of White Feather Broilers And Hailan-brown Laying Hens

The traditional Chinese medicine (TCM) Duwenqing produced by Shanxi Veterinary MedicineInstitution has successfully applied in the pigs with different growth period. It can strengthen bodyresistance and eliminate evil, clear heat and detoxicate body, activate immune system, and improveproduction performance, but the effect of TCM Duwenqing on production performance and immunitivefunction in Hailan-brown Laying Hens and White Feather Broilers should be further studied. In this paper,the daily gain, feed conversion ratio, feed-egg ratio, laying rate, the lymphocyte proliferation rate in theperipheral blood, and immune organ weight and indexes in Hailan-brown Laying Hens and White FeatherBroilers were measured in order to evaluate the effect of TCM Duwenqing on production performance andimmune function in White Feather Broilers and White Feather Broiler comprehensively.1Effect of TCM Duwenqing on production performance and immune function in White FeatherBroilers.The results were shown the effect of Duwenqing on speed of growth was different, in the differentgrowth phases of broiler chicken. Duwenqing played a vital role in the second phase growth of broilerchicken(with20d to30d old), and no obvious effects were seen in the chickens in the first (with1d to19dold)and third phase growth (with31d to43d old).Duwenqing cloud increase spleen weight, spleen indexand bursal index in the experimental group1and2. Duwenqing cloud enhance the immune effect ofNewcastle disease vaccine and reduced the falling speed of antibody. Duwenqing cloud promoteT-lymphocyte transformation effectively. In a word,0.84‰basic diet is the optimal dosage in producingmanagement.2Effect of TCM Duwenqing on production performance and immune function in Hailan-brown LayingHens.The result of feed-egg ratio, mortality, broken eggshell rate and feed intake in experimental group2is thelowest. Duwenqing cloud decrease feed-egg ratio, mortality, broken eggshell rate and feed intake.Duwenqing could increase laying rate. Laying rate in group1and2was increased5%,8%, comparing withthe control group.Duwenqing could increase wall thickness of jejunum, crypt depth, and villus height.Duwenqing cloud enhance the immune effect of Newcastle disease titer and Avian Influenza titer. It cloudreduce the falling speed of antibody. Duwenqing cloud promote T-lymphocyte transformation effectively.In a word,1.25‰basic diet is the optimal dosage in producing management.
