Lycium barbarum L. belongs to the Solanaceae, Lycium, and perennial deciduous shrub. In this study, Lycium barbarum L. as the research object, fruits and seeds as test material, phytochemicals, plant physiology means were used, the changes of endogenous hormone contents in Lycium Barbarum L, pericarp and seeds, changes of endogenous hormone contents and cell wall components and degrading enzyme activity and their relation in Lycium Barbarum L. and changes of endogenous hormone contents and primary metabolite and secondary metabolites and their relation were studied systemly. The research further enrich the study of the basic theory of Lycium barbarum L. and it has important academic value, at the same time, it can improve the yield and quality of Lycium barbarum L. and it will have important theoretical and practical significance.The results are summarized as below:1. Ningqi5’s diameter, length and single fruit weight were greater than Ningqi1, the early stage of fruit development, especially in the slow growth period was a critical period of Ningqi5, which could accumulate fruit size and weight. In Ningqi1, the correlation between the seeds’IAA contents and diameter and single fruit weight reached a significant positive correlation, the correlation between the seeds’IAA contents and length reached a positive correlation; and in Ningqi5, the correlation between the pericarp’s ZT contents and diameter and single fruit weight reached a positive correlation, the correlation between the seeds’IAA contents and diameter and single fruit weight reached a positive correlation, ZT can promote cell division, and in fruit growth, the cell number is more important than the cell’s size; in the slow growth period (8-25d), the content of ABA in Ningqi5’s pericarp and seed were less than Ningqi1. The two points above all were the main reason why Ningqi5’s diameter, length and single fruit weight were greater than Ningqi1. In Lycium Barbarum L., there was a dynamic balance relationship among four kinds of hormones, every kinds of hormones in fruits and seeds worked together to help the development of Lycium Barbarum L.’s fruit.2. The changes of GA3and Cx were opposite, it indicated that the Cx activity was inhibited by the high content of pericarp’s GA3in prophase and metaphase in Ningqi1, Thus showing fruit swelling. The changes of IAA in pericarp and PG, PE, ZT and PE, ABA and Cx, ZT in seeds and PE were opposite, it also indicated that in Ningqi5, in prophase and metaphase, the high content of IAA, ZT and ABA in pericarp, ZT in seeds can promote fruit expansion. This was one of the main reasons of Ningqi5’fruit bigger than Ningqi l’s. In Ningqi5, ZT in pericarp and IAA in seeds could enhance the activity of Cx, in Ningqi1, ABA in pericarp could enhance the activity of PE, and then promote the mature of fruit. In Ningqi1, the content of pectin was mainly regulated by IAA in pericarp, GA3and ABA in seeds; the content of cellulose was mainly regulated by IAA in pericarp, GA3and ABA in seeds; the content of hemicellulose was mainly regulated by ZT in pericarp and IAA in seeds; the activity of PG was mainly regulated by ABA in pericarp and ZT in seeds; the activity of PE was mainly regulated by ABA in pericarp, IAA and ZT in seeds; the activity of Cx was mainly regulated by ZT、IAA and ABA in pericarp, IAA in seeds. In Ningqi5, the content of pectin was mainly regulated by IAA in pericarp and ZT in seeds; the content of cellulose was mainly regulated by IAA in pericarp and ABA in seeds; the content of hemicellulose was mainly regulated by IAA in pericarp and ABA in seeds; the activity of PG was mainly regulated by IAA in pericarp, ZT and GA3in seeds; the activity of PE was mainly regulated by IAA in pericarp and ZT in seeds; the activity of Cx was mainly regulated by ZT and IAA in pericarp, IAA in seeds.3. The correlation between endogenous hormone contents in Lycium Barbarum L. pericarp and seeds and primary metabolite and secondary metabolites in fruit reached a positive or negative correlation, it showed that endogenous hormone contents in Lycium Barbarum L. can promote active ingredients. The correlation between IAA contents in Ningqi1and main active ingredients reached a positive correlation, and the correlation between ZT contents in Ningqi5and main active ingredients reached a positive correlation, the results indicated that IAA played an important role in the growth and development in Ningqi1, and in Ningqi5, ZT played an important role.
