| Sargassum fusiforme is part of Phaeophyta, it is a kind of perennial temperate algae, growth at low water with rock, throughout China’s coast. This experiment has five strains WD01, WD02, WD03, WD04and WD05, they are from institute of Zhejiang Lufeng Sargassum fusiforme and our research group breeding. The cultivation and collection was carried out in Sargassum fusiforme Seedling Base in Dongjiu village of Luxi Town of Dongtou County in Zhejiang (N27°59’, E121°13’). This paper mainly research the morphological characteristics of cultured Sargassum fusiforme and relationship between the nutrients with time and environment, this paper will be useful for screening excellent quality Sargassum fusiforme strains.1. Comparative analysis of five strains of morphological characteristics of Sargassum fusiforme in Dongtou. From mid-march to mid-may, body length of Sargassum fusiforme increased steadily, WD05algae body length is significantly higher than the same period of other strains, WD04except for April, Body length is below at the same time other strains. Each strain principal branch diameter in the whole growth period of growth is slower, WD05main stem diameter is significantly higher than the same period of other strains, WD01main stem diameter is slightly lower than other strains at the same time. Branch number of Sargassum fusiforme slowly increased over time, WD05primary branch number significantly higher than other strains at the same time, but WD04is lower. Different strains of Sargassum fusiforme balloon during the vigorous growth period of growing slowly, The algae body of Sargassum fusiforme are fast growth during the vigorous growth period, but the length, diameter and dry weight is not the same growth rate.2. Sargassum fusiforme protein content changes with time, it is the highest from December to April of next year, the protein content begin to reduce with the Receptacles formation by the end of May, when mature harvest at the end of August, the content is the lowest; WD05have more protein content than other four strains at the same period, whereas WD04is the lowest. Fat content of each strain reaches a maximum while receptacle formation, but still immature; Ash content is the highest when the receptacle to be formed, lowest at the end of harvest; WD05during the same period, has lower fat content than other strains except April, and the fat content of WD01is higher than any other strains. All Sargassum fusiforme strains have the most crude fiber in April, while lest in May, and crude fiber of WD05is high in the whole growth period, WD02is relatively low. The ash content of all Sargassum fusiforme strains is the highest when the receptacles to be formed, lowest at the end of the harvest. In addition, the ash content of WD05is high except April, WD02is low in the whole growth period.3.18kinds of amino acids in all the Sargassum fusiforme samples were detected, and essential amino acids are rich, accounted for42.08%~47.36%of the total amount of amino acids, the value of essential/non-essential amino acid0.73-0.90, respectively,0.4and0.6higher than that of the FAO/WHO standard. So Sargassum fusiforme can provide high quality protein. All kinds of amino acids content in Sargassum fusiforme are influenced by season obviously, all the amino acids are the highest content in late winter, lowest late spring and summer. Sargassum fusiforme SRC value changes with the seasons,76.23-83.88, close to the ideal SRC value and indicated that Sargassum fusiforme amino acids proportion is relatively balanced, Sargassum fusiforme has high nutritional value.4. We choose the most representative WD05as the research object, analyze and compare cultured Sargassum fusiforme food protein, fat, crude fiber content, ash content, total sugar content and uronic acid content changes in different culture conditions. Influenced by environmental factors, the highest protein content of Sargassum fusiforme is Aozi, the lowest is Damen; the highest fat content of Sargassum fusiforme is Dongjiu, the lowest is Aozi; the highest crude fiber content of Sargassum fusiforme is Damen, the lowest is Dongjiu; the highest ash content of Sargassum fusiforme is Damen, the lowest is Dongjiu; the highest total sugar content of Sargassum fusiforme is Dongjiu, the lowest is Damen; the highest uronic acid content of Sargassum fusiforme is Dongjiu, the lowest is Damen. |
