This study continuing investigated of the pest control behavior and effects of therepresentative greenhouse tomato planters and analysis of the role of internal human capitalduring tomato production process, then evaluated the safety of tomato production process. The results showed that:1. Sampling investigation depends on personal details like age, education background, planting period, plant protection knowledge, healthy level, insurance, working experiencefrom greenhouse tomato planters in Yangling. The differences of pest control knowledge andtechnology resource has been decided as the screening index for choosing representativeplanters. The result was: there are4paths for obtaining knowledge and technology for pestcontrol, respectively are training (planter1), experience (planter2,3), self-learning (planter4,5) and self-learning&training (planter6).2. Using the field sampling method to record the occurrence degrees and control effectsof tomato pests in greenhouse. Tomato diseases had been recorded during the whole tomatoproduce process, and the average disease index from planter1to planter6was:33.8%,55.2%,56.5%,25.1%,33.8%,27.9%; the average control effect was:46.2%,29.0%,27.5%,54.4%,44.7%,52.0%. The average number per plant of Trialeurodes vaporariorum Westwood was:0.9,25.6,31.2and6.6,3.4and19.4; such numbers were all below the hazard level. Thelowest occurrence degree of disease was gray mold, and the highest was Tomato Fusariumwilt.3. Observing method was used in fixed point to record temperature and moisture, pestcontrol behavior and input of representative planters, regularly. Then find out the averagetemperature and moisture in greenhouse of planter1,4,5and6were lower than planter2and3. Investigated planters selected suitable date for control by the method of visualmeasurement of disease rate or visual measurement combine weather forecast. Pesticides hadbeen used for13--18times, and the dispensing concentration exceeded standard of2.0--3.0times. The total input of buying and using pesticides was592.3—1823.2Yuan.4. The cost and effects of pest control were combined in Correlation analysis and Multi-objective comprehensive decision, to evaluate relation of planters’ human capital and produce process. Significant negative correlation has been found between self-learning (reading) andinvalid cost or disease index, the coefficient was-0.829or-0.815. Education level andtraining times can also help to improve the process of pest control.5. To sum up, the total stock of education, training, experience, knowledge andtechnology and healthy that inside planter was personal human capital. The expressingprocess of human capital was recorded by factors within tomato pest control in greenhouse. However, significant differences were found in planter1to planter6, planter2and3causedthe worst pollution of greenhouse environment and tomato fruit by using pesticides a lot. Byanalysis the pest control process, self-learning, training times and education level has beenconfirmed as the important factors for planters.
