The Aegilops and Triticum have the closest genetic relationship. Aegilops, it alsocontains many excellent resistance gene, which is one of the most important resourcefor wheat. Order to allow the wheat to get these good traits, we must Aegilops find theseexcellent genes. However, because of Aegilops the molecular markers lack of Aegilopsgenetic resources is difficult to quickly and accurately identify the genetic improvementof future generations. Therefore, in order to be able to these excellent genes into wheat, cultivated wheat containing these traits, so we used bioinformatics methods to tap thepotential of InDel markers for experimental verification, the development of practicaland convenient InDel markers. The expressed sequence tags (ESTs) of Aegilops speltoides were aligned withUniGene sequences of wheat,it find A total of137insertion/deletion (InDel) sites wereidentified in Ae. speltoides, and24pairs of primers flanking these InDel sites weredesigned. Of the24pairs of primer,11had polymorphic amplification in15species ofwheat relatives, suggesting that they can be used as InDel markers. These InDel markerswere functional markers involved in subcellular localization, protein binding orcatalyzing, metabolic process and cell rescue, defense, and disease resistance. And theestablishment of a set of data based on Aegilops EST marker development system. OfAegilops genetic analysis provides important breeding techniques, to produce more withAegilops excellent genetic resources varieties of wheat will provide the possibility.
