Under the condition of oasis irrigation this thesis with profile digging and layered samplingmethods, makes full analysis on root biomass liveweight density, root length density, rootsurface area density of Ziziphus Jujube tree through WinRHIZO Pro2010a. The spatialdistribution of the root biomass liveweight, absorbing root and conducting root of ZiziphusJujube is analyzed in the different age. Main conclusions were as follow:The spatial distributions shares the same tendency with root length density, surface areadensity of absorbing root and conducting root of Ziziphus Jujube trees. In horizontal direction, they decrease with the increasing of distance fromtrees. Vertically, they firstly increase, thendecrease with increasing of soil depth. The spatial distribution in root biomass liveweightdensity follows the same law.In horizontal directions, the range of the spatial distributions of Ziziphus Jujube tree roots’biomass liveweight, conducting roots and absorbing roots increase with diameter increasingof Ziziphus Jujube tree. The spatial distributions of21cm-diameter can reach as far as550cm.Vertically, it firstly increases, and then decreases with diameter increasing of Ziziphus Jujubetree. The spatial distributions of15cm-diameters can reach as deep as190cm.Root systems of12cm,15cm,18cm and21cm diameters Ziziphus Jujube are mainlydistributed in some areas around the trunks, they are respectively200cm in radius80cm indepth,200cm in radius70cm in depth,250cm in radius90cm in depth and275in radius110cm in depth. All of these areas are very important for water and fertilizer management.
