Wusu City is in the southwest margin of Junggar basin, and at the northern foot of TianshanMountains boluokenu hill and Elaine Habiga mountain. The total grassland area is682100hm~2, and isimporant animal husbandry production base in Tacheng region, Xinjiang. Recent years, due todeterioration of the natural environment and human overload crosses herd behavior, grasslanddegradation is serious with each passing day, and the sustainable development of grassland resourceshave seriously affected. Therefore, how can in time and space reasonably utilize grassland resources isvery important. At present, Wusu city grassland resources data updating speed can not meet thedevelopment of modern animal husbandry production demand. Animal husbandry production meansbackward, cultivate industry production to low efficiency and many other factors, which severelyrestricts the use of time and space pattern of grassland resources optimization of the formulation andimplementation. This article selects Wusu city area of the northern slope of Tianshan Mountains meadow grasslandresources evaluation and optimization research. The first use of3S technology on grassland resourcebackground investigation, the city of grassland resources are divided into8grassland types,11grasslandsubclasses,17grassland groups and26grassland types. It uses the grass livestock balance method toanalyses the present situation of grassland resources, on the basis, and takes advantage of grasslandresources and ecosystem replacement theory, combines local actual condition to carry out grazing inwarm season185d and in cold season180d drylot feeding mode of production, divides grasslandresources into grazing area, careless cultivate balance area and herdsman in auxiliary area. Thus strongevidence that the proposed optimization scheme, the study area zoology, can promote economic benefitsto rise apparently.
