| South China tiger is special tiger subspecies of our country and national level of protection for animals, the number of which is rare.In order to provide valuable information for south China tiger breeding, reproduction, disease diagnosis and treatment, this paper attempts to assay south China physiological and biochemical indexes, diagnose disease and arrange the main points of scientific raising management.Experiment I Measurements of the Blood Routine and Biochemical Values in South China tigersWe measured blood routine and blood physiological and biochemical indexes of nine health south China tiger in Suzhou and Shanghai areas, established routine blood and blood physiological and biochemical indexes reference standard for different gender and some ages health south China tiger, which not only provide certain reference for further research about normal physiological value range of south China tiger. At the same time, we made significant difference analysis to each index that belongs to different gender south China tiger. The results showed that routine blood index of the south China tiger with different gender generally has no significant difference (P>0.05), only the total number of white blood cell in male south China tiger slightly higher than in the female. Biochemical index of the south China tiger with different gender generally has no significant difference (P>0.05), only globulin of male south China tiger slightly lower than the female.Experiment II Investigation and Analysis of the Raising Management and Prevention and Treatment of Diseases in South China tigersSouth China tiger in the captive inevitably occurred in a variety of diseases, author took the disease situation observation and extensive investigation about the South China tigers in recent years, and orderly classification, based on the scientific analysis and summed up the captive South China tiger disease types and prevention measures, for scientific feeding and early implementation of disease prevention and control measures have important value and realistic significance. At the same time, we investigated south China tiger breeding, and found their estrus time in February and in October is obviously more than in other. Almost all of the same gender is smaller than older generation in size. Meanwhile, the probability of difficulty miscellaneous disease is increased. This investigation provides valuable information for south China tiger breeding, reproduction, disease diagnosis and treatment.Experiment III Diagnosis and Treatment of Infection Cat Rhinotracheitis Virus Disease in South China TigersThis chapter describes the life experiences of the author, which is about the diagnosis and treatment process when a cat rhinotracheitis virus disease. It mainly introduced using molecular biological detection means to diagnose cats rhinotracheitis virus disease of south China tiger. Through a series of the operation, such as, processing the sample, taking total DNA and RNA of samples, amplification PCR and RT-PCR, agarose gel electrophoresis identification and PCR products sequencing analysis, the results showed that the cat rhinotracheitis virus was positive. This is the first successful use of molecular biological detection means for detecting the south China tiger infected cats rhinotracheitis virus disease and provides a reliable method for diagnosing south China tiger cat infected rhinotracheitis virus disease. And correct comprehensive prevention and control measures can be taken timely, terminally ill south China tiger can be full recovery within12days. |
