This study took the cluster analysis for43crack food sunflower cultivars germplasm resources, and preliminarily determined the core collection of crack food sunflower varieties are Yunnan Dali peasant Variety, Chikui No.2, the Chengde peasant Variety, Shanxi Shuozhou peasant Variety, ZhaLu peasant Variety No.l, Chifeng Songshan District peasant Variety, three eyebrow Variety, Yimin large white sunflower, Xinghuo sunflower Variety, Xian kaolin peasant Variety, H4, DK119. LD5009. Using100gray,150gray and200gray, three radiation doses of gamma ray irradiation induced mutation eatable sunflower seeds. The results showed that the survival rate of100gray irradiation dry seeds of crack food sunflower is41.5%, close to the threshold radiation dose of breeding mutation, screening from radiation mutagenesis second-generation group to precocity and mid-low mutation type,100gray mutagenic treatments could be used as materials for radiation dose; Phenotype recurrent selection with three reincarnation will peasant the genes and modem hybrid crack food sunflower has carried on the communication, from the recurrent population screening to a combination of multiple germplasm genetic traits of good breeding material,in total53, in order to further develop new varieties, breeding work provides new germplasm resources.
