The impacts of varied irrigation methods on the water consumption, soil water content, soil enzyme activities, the carbon and nitrogen contents of the soil microbial biomass, photosynthetic characteristic and the yield of oats at different developmental stages were studied. The results are:In the whole growth period, the drip irrigation treatment of oats plant height, plant dry weight and root dry weight were greater than traditional irrigation, and significantly higher than no irrigation(P<0.05). Drip irrigation treatment of0-100cm soil moisture content was significantly higher than traditional irrigation and no irrigation treatment (P<0.05), on the improvement of the soil physical properties is better than that of traditional irrigation and no irrigation. In different growth period oats, drip irrigation methods content of soil microbial biomass carbon, nitrogen and soil enzyme activities were higher than conventional irrigation and no irrigation treatment. In different growth period, drip irrigation and traditional irrigation treatment of oat photosynthetic rate were higher than no irrigation; Before irrigation, drip irrigation and traditional irrigation, leaf transpiration rate and stomatal conductance were greater than no irrigation. Drip irrigation water use efficiency higher than traditional irrigation, both were higher than no irrigation. Drip irrigation treatment of production factors indicators were higher than other two kinds of treatment (P<0.05), while there were no significant differences between traditional irrigation and no irrigation treatment, drip irrigation treatment oat yield increased significantly, yield increased by24.35%, than no irrigation and traditional irrigation than yield was1.08%higher than that of the irrigation, drip irrigation water use efficiency is significantly higher than other two kinds of treatment (P<0.05). SiZiWangQi using drip irrigation in arid and semi-arid region of oat production, can significantly improve the soil moisture content, soil enzyme activity, soil microbial biomass carbon, nitrogen, and effectively improve the oat leaf light and features, and improves the oatmeal production.
