This paper selected and analyzed seven forest types (Evergreen broad-leaved forest,Coniferous forest, Conifer/broad-leaved mixed forests, Chinese fir forest, Bamboo forest,Cryptomeria forest and Shrub-grass forest) found in Fengyang Mountain Nature Reserve,Zhejiang Province, discussed the influence of forest types on soil biological activity(soilmicroorganisms and soil enzyme),expounded the change low of every forest type’s soilbiological activity in different soil layers and different seasons. Main findings are as followed:(1)The number of soil microorganisms had significant differences in different forest stands,The relation with the quantity between the three major groups of soil microorganisms is that:bacteria> actinomycetes> fungi; In different forest stands, the number of bacteria in the Bambooforest was the highest, Coniferous forest was the lowest; The number of fungi in the bamboo wasthe highest, Conifer/broad-leaved mixed forests was the lowest; The number of actinomycetes inthe Chinese fir forest was the highest, Coniferous forest was the lowest; The number of differentforest stands’ soil microorganisms was various in different seasons,it had a cartain rule of seasondynamics. The study of seasonal variations showed a summer>autumn>spring>winterdynamic in terms of bacteria and actinomycetes levels showed an autumn>summer>spring>winter dynamic in terms of fungus. The quantity of soil microorganism decreased with theincreased depth of the soil layer, and the soil surface had the largest ration.(2)The change of soil enzyme activity was inconsistent in the different forest stands, evergreen broad-leaved forest soil urease, catalase, and acid phosphatase activities were thehighest; Shrub-grass forest soil invertase activity was higher; And coniferous forest showed thehighest soil protease activity. In contrast, the Chinese fir forest soil’s urease, invertase activitywas lower, Cryptomeria forest soil’s catalase, acid phosphatase, protease activity were the lowest. The seasonal dynamic of soil enzyme activity was differences in the different forest stands,Autumn and summer soil enzyme activity were higher than spring and winter. The activity of Soilurease, catalase, acid phosphatase, protease, invertase decreased with the increased depth of thesoil layer, and the soil surface had the largest ration.(3)Correlation analysis showed that, soil bacteria, fungi, actinomycetes, the total numberof micro-organisms, were significantly correlation between most of soil physical and chemicalnature of indexes and soil enzyme activities, which showed that there was a closely connectionbetween soil microbes and soil nutrients, soil enzymes. They were interdependent and influenceeach other, play a decisive role in the stability and the maintenance of the soil ecosystem, and the sustainable development of the productivity of the soil.
