The Study On Preparing The DUS Test Guide Of Radix Astragali&Gastrodia Elata Bl.

DUS is the test of distictness, uniformity,stability of new plants`varieties. DUS test cangive statutory tests of the new plant variety right. Plant new variety DUS test is the basis ofdevelopment of DUS testing guidelines. The medicinal plant of Gastrodia elata BI. and RadixAstragali were used for object to Study and Preparing the DUS Test Guide of Radix Astragali&Gastrodia elata Bl.. Research findings are as follows:1.On the basis of Participation in training and searching the literature. Studied the theoriesof the protection of new varieties of plants, Summarized the present situation of the guide ofDUS testing of new plant variety, as well as the practical significance and problems inpreparing the DUS test guide of Radix Astragali and Gastrodia elata Bl.2.Analysised on biological characteristics, resources distribution and cultivationconditions of Radix Astragali and Gastrodia elata Bl. on the basis of the research groupinformation and flora. After one year`s observation of Radix Astragali and Gastrodia elata Bl.in Yangling and Lueyang County, Shaanxi, Collected botanical data to supplement revisedpast data. The resources of Radix Astragali （Contains25resources）and Gastrodia elata Bl.came from northwest sci-tech university of agriculture and forestry and Shaanxi hanwangtechnology of Chinese medicine limited.3.On the basis of referring to the terms in International Union for the protection of newvarieties of plants (UPOV) and General principles of DUS testing guidelines of new plantvarieties，Preliminarily established test guidelines of and the preparation method of RadixAstragali and Gastrodia elata Bl.4.Dia-researching，Selected16characters of Gastrodia elata Bl., and21characters ofAstragalus. Preliminarily determined the requirements of guide，such as scope of application，sign，test approach and so on. each characters`observation period and method were given inthe guide. At the same time, Illustrations and pictures were used to illustrate some characters.At last, all the Characters classified and coded.
