In recent years, propolis products of Qingdao lvman biological engineering company have been successfully used in clinical treatment of viral upper respiratory infections of chickens, and have achieved very good results. During the course of poultry health, when continuous used3days before vaccine, the immune reaction was significantly reduced, and immune failure reduced. A laboratory study was conducted in this paper, which was designed to provide certain theoretical basis for clinical application of the product, research content mainly included the following two aspects:(1) The effect of Lvman propolis products named greenfu help liquid on the respiratory response indued by combined live vaccine against newcastle disease and infectious in chickens;(2) The effect of Lvman propolis products on the vaccine immune effect of combined live vaccine against newcastle disease and infectious in chickens.Tortally320Chickens at age of1day were divided into4groups:propolis(spray)+vaccine group, propolis (oral)+vaccine group, vaccine group and blank control group. During5to7days, chickens in propolis(spray)+vaccine group received propolis1times a day for3times. During5to7days, chickens in propolis(oral)+vaccine group allso received propolis1times a day for3times, each chicken was injected0.5ml propolis with blunt syringe.At the age of7days, chickens in propolis (spray)+vaccine group, propolis(oral)+vaccine and vaccine group were vaccined with combined vaccine against Newcastle disease and infectious bronchitis with2times the volume by drop and nasal immunization, while blank control group without any treatment. From the beginning of Immunization, chickens were killed randomly trachea were taken for scanning electron microscope and paraffin observation, blood were collected, levels of IBV antibody, NDV antibodies, interferon-gamma and interleukin2were detected and analyzed, results showed that:(1) propolis can effectively reduce the respiratory reaction of combined vaccine against Newcastle disease and infectious bronchitis, especially in propolis spray group.(2)Propolis has a protective effect, reduce the vaccine reactions which leading to the damage of airway epithelial, and can accelerate healing of the airway epithelial, especially in propolis spray group.(3) Propolis can improve ND HI antibody titer at7days and14days postimmunization, effect in spray propolis group at7days after immunization is remarkable.(4) Propolis can improve IB antibody antibody titer at7days and14days postimmunization, but the effect is not significant.(5) There has no significant effect of propolis on the levels of interferon-gamma and interleukin-2.The above results indicated that, spray with propolis liquid can reduce the respiratory reaction of combined live vaccine against Newcastle disease and infectious bronchitis, improve ND HI antibody level after immunization.
