As the various electronic devices are developing fast and more popularity, the harmonicpollution in power grid is worse and worse increasingly. Due to the hazards of the harmonic,researcher have paid attention to it and research it. The distribution of harmonic source inindustry shows that the harmonic in civil building has higher proportion. In the civil building,The lighting is a large harmonic pollution in the civil building. So researching the harmonic oflighting in civil building is necessary.The subject is sponsored by International Copper Association. And it get the Flukecompany support. Test model is built in the lab. Energy-saving lamps, Straight tubefluorescent lamps and LED are the measurement object in the experiment. They are measuredby4cases which is divided for the actual engineering. The4cases are the combination of thesame brand and same power CFL(compact fluorescent lamps), the combination of the samebrand and different power CFL, the combination of the different brand and same power CFLand the combination of LED. The measurement shows that the energy-saving light which isnot more than25W have so high harmonic. And some of multiple harmonic values exceed theSpecification standard value. The LED has low harmonic pollution. The actual current in theloop are larger than Arithmetic current by analysis the experiment data, which is caused byharmonic current. So the lighting harmonic coefficient K has been defined. In this paper, thecommon specification lights which include28W Straight tube fluorescent lamps,5W and22W~25W energy-saving lamps get the fitting curve of K. For the engineering safety, fittingcurve used the largest K of using different brands on the same number. And the measurementin the spot has verified the fitting curve. In addition, when there is10A or16A breaker in theloop, the upper limit number of28W Straight tube fluorescent lamps,5W、22W~25Wenergy-saving lamps has been calculated for the actual engineering.In this paper, we used MATLAB neural net tool kit to build a model for the LED quantity,power consumption, and total harmonic distortion (THD) of CFL between22to25W, inorder to improve the accuracy and effectiveness of the analysis of the THDI of the CFL loopcurrent. Through this model, the value of THDI of CFL whose power close to25W can bepredicted and its effectiveness and applicability can be evaluated through the comparison ofthe practical measured data.
