With global warming and scarcity of energy resources, energy saving and emission control become more and more critical to the environmental protection. The energy consumption of the air conditioning system usually takes large account of energy consumption in the commercial buildings, but with ice-cooling reservation technology, the end user can reduce the operation cost by averaging the peak power demand and lowest power demand, it becomes more and more important in the energy saving in commercial building. This research paper is mainly focusing on the research of different available methods of the energy saving in the commercial building and study and research of Air conditioning system with ice-cooling reservation technology including technical study, economical feasible study, optimization study of the equipment used for the ice-cooling reservation technology as well as the technology application in the actual projects. The study result is summarized as the end user can have benefit by saving operation cost, emission reduction and long term environmental benefit by investing little more capital cost during the initial construction stage. There are technical advantages by application of ice-cooling storage reservation technology in upgrading of existing air conditioning system and sectional cooling supply system.
