| As Chinese construction industry is developing in the direction of lowenergy-consuming, low-pollution and sustainable development, traditionaltwo-dimensional work environment is no longer appropriate to the current buildingdesign requirement. Presently BIM(Building Information Modeling)technology isbringing a profound impact on the construction industry, leading to improvement ofinformatization for the industry. However, the widely use of BIM technology still facesbarriers.This paper starts from the concept of BIM, proposes a solution for lightweightarchitectural design system, based on database for building information storage, withAutoCAD as graphic platform for display and interaction. Firstly, the technologies ofinvolved in the system are summarized, including AutoCAD secondary development,SQL Server database. Secondly, the process of architectural design is analyzed, andrequirement modeling and data modeling are completed. Thirdly, combined withhierarchical software development method, the application framework of system isproposed, and the system modules and database are designed. Generating of modelviews are implemented by setting parameters of model view such as plane, elevation,section. Also statistics of components through the query on model database isimplemented. Finally, the system is tested by test cases, and the results are analyzed.The practical application shows that the modeling method and theory of the systemexpounds in this paper are valid and feasible. |
