Into the21st century, the electrification of society is increasingly high degree.Electrical equipment is used all areas of people’s lives, however, the electrical fires happenfrequently. According to relevant statistics, in2007to2010, electrical fires accounted for29.7%of the total number of fires and accounted for37.5%of the major fires. Theelectrical line fires accounted for60%of the total number of fires. The fires caused byshort-circuit account for a large proportion of electrical lines.Currently, the main mean of researching short-circuit fires is making wire test. Theresearch use the methods such as macro, metallurgical analysis, residual magnetismdetection and component analysis to find out the macro and micro melting markscharacteristic of short-circuit wire. The short-circuit experiment is more significant inshort-circuit fires research.Because the power of electrical equipment is usually AC power, the power phaseangle is random at short-circuit time, and the power phase angle impact on the value andwaveform of short-circuit current. However, the general short circuit control system cannot control the power phase angle when the current short-circuit.The synchronous closing control system is designed by this paper not only have theclosing angle which use the IPM module but also have the8control channels. The wire testis made by this control system can control the power phase angle at short-circuit time atwill and the wire test can reflect the all kings of the melting marks characteristic. Thissynchronous closing control system have advantage for making short-circuit wire test,research of short-circuit electrical fire and the developing of identification of electrical firetechnology.
