The Study Of Urban Complexes Along The Rail

Rail transportation progressed rapidly in China recently. Local governments expect to use the subway to drive regional development, utilization of land resources along subway and changing of urban spatial structure. Prescient real estate developers have gradually shift attention from residential to commercial real estate industry. As the best model of commercial real estate, an important factor of urban complex is the convenient transportation which is directly or indirectly associated with rail traffic. Interactions between rail transportation and urban complex will facilitate each other for further and sustainable development.In this study, the design of Lot E-04core region in the financial business district (FBD) of Beijing Lize was investigated. The designing experiences from some famous financial city complex, such as Hong Kong Central, Sheung Wan, etc., were analyzed and their experiences was applied to explore the design of E-04Lot Crystal Plaza in the FBD of Beijing Lize. Our study focused on the design strategies of financial office complexes in the Lize business district along the rail, which involves the public space of urban complex, traffic organization, utilization of underground space and underground commercial organizations. We hope this study will provide valuable information for the design and construction of urban complexes along the rail like Lize financial business district.
