This paper summed up the technological points of variable primary flow chilled watersystem.Thinks that to prevent the heat exchange efficiency reduced the flow rate inevaporator can’t exceed the minimun flow rate and also the variety rate of flow rate can notexceed the minimun variety rate.We also need to design a reasonable automatic controlsystem. Based on the characteristic curve of pump,we analyzed the energy consumption of thechiller pumps in variable primary flow system under different controlling ways. Inaddition,we researched the method of parallel connection of pumps’ energy consumptioncalculation and based on this method we compiled the Type in TRNSYS.In chiller units configuration and operation optimization, We constructed a simulationmodel about chillers’ energy consumption based on all-year dynamic cooling load calculatedby DEST.And searched the optimized chiller unit configuration by solving nonlinearoptimization problem. The calculation result shows that through the optimization calculation,it requires4.7percent less energy in the chillers’ energy consumption.As an example of pratical engineering in the end of this paper,we summarized thetroubles in the system’s actual operation and put forward some improving ways to decreasethe energy usage on the air conditoning water system.We simulated and analyzed the system’senergy consumption before and after retrofit by TRNSYS.The simulation results shown thatvariable frequency primary pumps in chilled-water system energy saving by36.4%relative tothe pumps in the constant chilled water flow system,the use of variable temperature operationsystem can realize the chillers’ energy saving potential of9.7%,while the use of variablefrequency cooling towers’fan in cooling-water system enrgy saveing by36.1%. |
