As the development of society is driven by the development of science, and the development of enterprises is driven by the technological updating, China’s manufacturing industry is undergoing a new round of new technology and new device upgrading to improve the product quality and strength the competitiveness of products.The stage of producing Casing pressure riveting, in the process of the spare part processing and in Jinan FESTO AG(China) Ltd. Still conduct manual operation. The process of processing and assembling usually needs the coordination of several staff to accomplish. On the one hand, there exists a problem of wasting labors, low working efficiency. On the other hand, product quality produced in this method is unstable and needs long delivery time. To solve these problems, this paper will apply automatic control to the design of riveting pressure electromechanical integration, aimed to improve the production efficiency and product quality. The main work includes:Firstly, the design of casing pressure riveting machine. Based on the idea of automatic control, the air cylinder is used as the main components to complete the assembling of spare parts. Through the protruding and retracting of the air cylinder, taking casting pipes, taking iron cores and coating operation can be realized automatically and coordinately. Use the oscillating of the air cylinder to group picking up and dropping off the iron core, gluing and pressuring iron core into an integrity. Upgrading the traditional riveting pressure operation into double cylinder pressure riveting one, finally all these sections can be connected into one integrated automatic control tooling through the drive shaft.Secondly, the design of automatic control system, the whole control system with the valve terminal as its core adopts the servo controller to realize the precise positioning operation and the control of the cylinder and the servo controller through the CoDeSys programming. The original decentralized operation is changed into centralized control mode and the original manual operation into automatic operation.At last, the design of a human-machine interactive touch screen control, this design can realize the whole assembly process through the simple operation of touch screen, and conduct the state monitoring on touch screen. Also, it can find problems timely in assembling, completing the function of human-computer interaction soundly.The improved mechatronics casting pressure riveting tooling, can not only reduce labors, lower the worker’s labor intensity, shorten the production cycle and improve the production efficiency, also, it can improve the degree of automation and the precise of production significantly. After long time running,the stability and safety of its work is verified, comparing with the new equipment purchasing, it can save60%to70%of the cost.
