Smart space is a complex system integrated with informatization, intellectualization, comprehension and decision-making control. Using the smart space technology into home environment is an important trend in the future. By integrating and managing the equipment and resource in smart space, the purpose of user-friendly can ultimately be achieved. The key segment for smart space technology applied in family services is how to manage and control equipment successfully; therefore, the study of space resources management has important theoretical significance and practical value. By constructing smart space resource management system in the thesis, a research platform was provided for equipment management and scheduling in smart apace, thereby facilitating the design and development of equipment scheduling algorithm. The main works of this thesis are listed as followed.Overall design was done to resource management system. First, framework of system was designed to indicate the system hierarchy and the relationship between layers. Two kinds of working mode were set:reality mode and simulation mode. Then the part of system map display was described, including the analysis about map selection and the constructing method of map. Finally, movement control method to the user model in simulation mode was designed, and the function of the wall-against detection for users was achieved.Equipment connection and information transmission mechanism was designed. Connection method and process of equipment was discussed in detail, including the design of equipment ID identifiers, verification process of equipment, the assignment method of ID identifiers and so on. Secondly, initialization method of equipment with XML files was introduced, and the property setting of various types of equipment were analyzed and explained. Finally, command transfer and control way between system and equipment were described. A few of specific scheduling algorithms were designed. The first one was a simple lighting management algorithm, which could control the lighting equipment switches mainly based on the location of users and the brightness of ambient. Then a equipment control method based on user habits was given, and the process of obtaining habit information was that statistical-based clustering algorithm and high-dimensional subspace clustering algorithm based on low-dimensional clustering and high-dimensional verification were used to extract the possible user habits, and then accurate user habits information was obtained further through the strengthening and elimination mechanism. Finally, multi-robot scheduling algorithm was designed in accordance with the characteristics of robotic equipment, including robot tasks allocation mechanism and message handling mechanism, which achieved the management of robotic equipment.System software implementation was elaborated and performance test was done. Human Machine Interface (HMI) was designed and introduced, including the work mode selection, map selection, the task loaded and so on. Subsequently, running status of system was tested variously, including the tests about equipment access and command transmission in different modes and tests about the movement control of user model in simulation mode. At last, the equipment management algorithm based on user habits and the multi-robot scheduling algorithm were tested and analyzed the results.
