| With the increasing popularity of electric vehicles, there will be huge amount of electric vehicles visiting the battery charging station to change their batteries. In the charging station, a robotic arm may move back and forth thousands of times to change batteries for vehicles every day, which results in huge energy consumption. However, it is difficult to design a good dispatch method to minimize the energy consumption of the robotic arm since arrivals of vehicles are real-time and unpredictable. In this paper, under the actual application scenario, we propose an effective algorithm to address this issue. According to our simulation, this algorithm can always find the global optimal dispatch strategy, which can minimize the energy consumption of the robotic arm.As we know, because of the energy crisis and the environmental pollution caused by the fuel vehicle. There have been many approaches proposed to solve this problem in recent years, but the main tendency is to promote the electric vehicle, which is environment-friendly and technically feasible. More and more researchers pay great attention to coming up with new approaches in this area, especially on the charging mode for electric vehicles. However, comparing with the time that needs to refuel, it takes more time to recharge the batteries of the electric vehicle. A better charging mode for the electric vehicle was proposed, where we change the batteries as long as electric vehicles arrive at the battery charging station. It is time-saving and the best way to meet the great requirement of electric vehicle. As electric vehicles become popular, there is a great demand for batteries changing station, which is designed for the electric vehicles to change their batteries. To our best knowledge, there is few work focusing on addressing the efficient batteries dispatch issue in batteries compartment. Since a huge number of vehicles will change their batteries in charging station, there will be huge energy consumption. Thus, designing an efficient dispatch strategy is significant for battery charging station to saving energy, which is our goal. |
