Facing the growing problems of energy shortages and environmental degradation, sustainable development has become a worldwide trend that was proposed to promote the development of society and economy without the waste of resources and the pollution of environment.For the benefit of the sustainable development of the automobile industry,"green car" project with the main content to develop and promote electric vehicles and fuel vehicles has been carried out throughout the world. Recently, pure electric vehicles and hybrid electric vehicles used multiple new and high technologies have shown the bright future of an auto industry.Energy supply plays a very important aspect in the electric vehicle industry chain and is closely linked to the development of electric vehicle. At present, energy supply of electric vehicle has two different modes--Plug-in mode and battery-replacing mode. On one hand, the high cost of the initial investment in Plug-in mode leds directly to the high price of the electric vehicle. On the other hand, the convenience of a car is seriously influenced by long-recharging times. However, in battery-replacing mode based on battery-rent, the initial investment cost of batteries is borne by the State Grid Corporation, which can significantly reduce the users’cost of the initial purchase of car.Furthermore, the process of replacing battery can be completed within a few minutes in battery-replacing mode, and even compared with conventional energy car, its convenience is not inferior. So it is not difficult to foresee that the battery-replacing mode will become one of the most important development models of electric vehicle in the future.This thesis mainly aims at battery-replacing mode of electric vehicle, which studies on online monitoring technology of power battery for electric vehicle. A remote on-line monitoring system for power battery has been established, which realizes the real-time monitor of the power battery pack. According to different application situations, two data acquisition modes have been designed. The collected data will be sent to PC monitoring software through wireless network. The data can be shown, processed and stored on PC monitoring software. So the running state of the power battery can be effectively controlled, and can provide support to company’s operational performance and batteries’ maintenance.The MCU selected is enhanced51SCM STC12C5A60S2produced by STC Company. Accomplished the circuit design and PCB layout of the system. And in the Keil uvision4environment, completed the control program’writing and debugging using the C programming language, such as the acquisition program of voltage and temperature, CAN bus transceiver program, CAN and RS232protocol conversion program, serial port transceiver program and so on. Finally completed the debugging of the software and hardware, and the joint debugging with PC monitoring software. The test results demonstrate that the system can achieve predetermined functions and has a high measurement precision.
