With China’s rapid economic development, electric power facilities have been improved and upgraded, making more and more forms of substation framework. But the widespread use of steel single, strength value is low, material optional small shortcomings, makes our design of the substation frame sectional area are relatively large, quality focused, economic benefits is low, weak in the international competition. The improvement of China’s power transmission level, the network scale is more and more big, steel and structure can not meet the requirements of the use of conventional substation framework has a large load. High strength steel structure can give full play to the characteristics of high strength steel, at the same time, there are advantages to reduce the amount of steel, has been used more and more in foreign engineering construction in recent years. At present our country330kV and over330kV substation project has been enabled for high strength steel. In this paper, using the finite element software MIDAS/Gen for substation framework analysis, focused on the following aspects:(1) using finite element analysis software MIDAS/Gen, establish the high strength steel330kV architecture model.(2) obtained through a linear analysis framework with under the design load stress, deformation and other results, and the overall optimization framework should contrast analysis and framework components.(3) the nonlinear factors on the effects of combined structure stress analysis and calculation.(4) the United framework in overload condition of stress, deformation, and Study on the influence of nonlinear factors of structure under the condition of overload.(5) compared with the general steel framework with analysis, prove that high strength steel in the superiority of combination framework application.
