With the opening of large number of new high speed railway, high speed EMU be widely used, which brings a great convenience for traveling.EMU must be lower noise during operating to meet the requirement of traveling comfort, in order to achieve this goal, analysis and control of noise is required.Noise control of high speed EMU is a system engineering, which covers designing, simulation, testing. In this paper, from the departure of status noise from high speed EMU, fluent simulation software is applying to flow field analysis for high speed EMU surface aerodynamic noise distribution caused by surface pressure changes. High speed EMU noise detectionAnalysis the impact of aerodynamic noise to interior noise, comparing of differences and causes of noise in different points of EMU head cab, sightseeing and passenger room, which influenced by EMU surface aerodynamic noise distribution along EMU, and confirms the simulation analysis result.High speed EMU noise control and reduction research, from interior noise distribution and transmission, which uses a variety of methods, including sound absorption, sound insulation, resistance or resistance silencers, vibration isolation, damping control and other noise propagation to control the sound source and change the position of the sound source, and proposing interior noise control methods.High speed EMU noise reduction materials optimization, compares research to noise reduction measures taken before and after, the noise distribution of floors, windows, top, side walls and different materials are analyzed to compare with actual effect.Summarizing and sorting the high speed EMU noise detection and control methods, proposes dynamic optimization suggestions to reduce high speed EMU noise and improve passenger comfort.
