Design And Implementation Of Smartappliance Control System

With the popularity of networking and smart-phone, as well as the improvement of people’sliving standard, The industry of Smart Appliance enters a thriving times. Smart Appliance system isthe integration of many subjects, including electronic technology, communication technology,computer technology, etc. This thesis,based on the system of Android, designs the framework of theSmart Appliance control system and does an in-depth study of Home gateway, Function nodemodules and network communication..Home gateway is the data switching center of Smart Appliance control system, which mainlymanages the communication between the home wireless network and Internet. Home gatewayuploads the data collected by the home wireless system to the network server for the house owner tolook through WIFI, but the transmission of the notification of the emergency is done through GPRS.The control part of Home gateway chooses the scheme of ARM with Android and the mainperipheral includes WIFI module and GPRS module. This thesis makes the physical hardware ofHome gateway, transplants operating system, designs the driver and application program of theperipheral modules.Node modules distribute every corner of the house, and they are the terminals of control andinformation acquisition. This thesis mainly designs the hardware and software of the powerdetection module, video monitoring module, temperature sensor module and home network node.The thesis also makes PCB of modules and the control program design of processor.Finally, this thesis tests Home gateway and Function node modules, and debugs Smart Homesystem. The results show that the system can work normally and stably, which achieves the designgoal.
