Throughout the railway operation systems, wheelset is an important factor on thetrain safety. Especially in recent years, with the rapid development of China’s railtransportation, high speed and heavy load have become the subject of railwaytransport development, vehicle security problems become more prominent. Vehiclewheelset condition is directly related to the safe operation of trains, the detection ofparameters of the wheelset is an important measure to protect its safety.Throughout the rail transportation system, the vehicle wheelset as a direct contactwith the rail member, is an important factor affecting the safety of the vehicle, todetect its parameters are important measures to protect traffic safety. In the onlineoptical image detection of wheelset, the image acquisition device of trigger control isthe foundation to ensure that test results are accurate. Therefore, the study of thetrigger system has an important role and significance in the wheelset online detection.The main contents of this paper are:(1)Designed the multi-channel trigger system in wheelset wear online detectionFor a comprehensive inspection of the vehicle on the wheels need, designed amulti-channel online using dynamic testing of wear in the overall structure of thewheel trigger system, all components of the trigger system module location, function,described and proposed. The trigger system in wheelset online detection systemachieved functional and technical requirements.(2)Designed multi-channel sensors signal acquisition and processingThrough in-depth study of the selected vehicle detection sensor performance,targeted to optimize, reduce the error introduced by the sensor detects link. Designedcore circuit board to achieve the centralized processing of multi-channel signals.(3)Designed hardware and software for the location determination and speeddetectionAccording to the wheel on which the judgment of the detection area, control thecorresponding function module starts off; design of multi-sensor for different groupsto achieve the speed round of the speed detection, camera design software to adjustthe time according to test results, designed to capture the position of the wheel toreach image. The use of single-chip timer interrupt its own hardware and software modules designed high precision timing functions.(4)Designed asynchronous reset trigger signalDepending on the external trigger signal requirements of JAI cameras, designedasynchronous reset trigger signal, controlling CCD camera for image acquisition byan external trigger, to meet online testing requirements of randomness.(5)Designed trigger control caseField environment for vehicle detection trigger control case design, the overalldesign of the system as a trigger in part, its main role is to be placed and fixedmodules related devices, play a supporting protection, signal indication and signaltransfer role, in addition, has an important function for shielding electromagneticradiation.(6)Conducted the asynchronous reset trigger experiments, online testingsimulations and field testing. Verified functions of multi-channel trigger system andresults and accuracy of trigger control image acquisition.
