In thisthesis, the main purpose is to let the patrol robot can be independent of thehighline across the obstacles, along the highline for patrol inspection, patrol robotusing carry of CCD camera for highline to image acquisition. This thesis mainlystudies part of highline inspection robot vision system damage detection. Usingdigital image processing technology complete highline image preprocessing,using MATLAB simulation processing and analysis, will damage highline andnormal highline for similarity matching, then contrast a damage point of highlineposition key monitoring. Finally design out of highline breakage point detectionsystem.First, discusses the composition of the mobile robot machine visionnavigation research purpose, meaning, and the mobile robot machine visionsystems, focusing on the development status and key technology of independentpatrol highline robot navigation technology at home and abroad. Based on thetheory of machine vision, using video cameras from highline scene to complete image acquisition of highline, and presenting a new fault point extraction methodcan achieve.
