| In recent years,the auto-industry has a rapid development in China,at the same time,the frequency and severity of traffic accidents have dramatically improved,most of them are caused by driver’s improper overtaking behavior.In order to reduce the accidents,developing a danger-overtaking warning system is on the way.The main purpose of the overtaking warning system is to monitor drivers’ overtaking behavior and to warm the improper overtaking behavior,the system can make sure drivers have enough time to avoid traffic accidents.This paper analyzes the overtaking behavior on one-way lane and develops a dangerous overtaking warning system.This system can obtain front road image by camera and the information of front and rear cars through radar and a wheel speed sensor.On the basis of these information,this paper has established a lane detection system and a vehicle safety distance model,which can remind drivers to keep a safe distance.At the same time,the system hardware structure is built based on DSP platform.The function of each module is detailed introduced.The integrity of the signal,power and ground is focused during the process of PCB layout.The code is also optimized in order to satisfy the real-time requirement.To verify the functionality of the system,we tested it in the actual scene with the whole process of overtaking including vehicle following,lane changing and lane returning.The test results show that the performance of the system is good and can totally meet the requirements of the design idea.The danger-overtaking warming system based on DSP platform designed in paper can effectively improve the safety and reduce traffic accidents during the overtaking behavior,and at the same time,it has a certain reference significance for the research of other overtaking behavior. |
