In our country,commercial vehicle includes mini-duty commercial vehicle, light-dutycommercial vehicle,middle-duty commercial vehicle and heavyi-duty commercialvehicle.Recent years,heavy-duty commercial vehicle market in China has been growing uprapidly.The transmission is an important part of heavyi-duty commercial vehicle. They arecalled the power assembly with engine.The performance of transmission impact the quality ofheavy-duty commercial vehicle. The merit of automated mechanical transmission(AMT) is highefficiency, low costs and easy manufacture.It is very suitable the development of the carindustry of our country. It has the widely application and the good industry prospect.Therefor, itis of great significance for our country to break monopolize of foreign technology and mastercore technology,and to promote the development and technological progress of automatedmanual transmission.Road test is important in development of an automated mechanical transmission as the lastprocedure.It can validate reliability and matchiong of the automated mechanical transmissionthrough the rode test.The paper base on a heavy-duty commercial vehicle automated mechanicaltransmission road test.Research the AMT test road method.This paper has mainly carried on the following research work:1. Analyzed the development of domestic and international automated mechanicaltransmission.Introduce the standard of automated transmission.2. Analyzed the standard of General Motors Corporation and Landrover Corporation.3. Combined requirement of vehicle and the desigememt target of AMT, d-FMEAanalysis and transmission finite element analysis, Get a function of the automated mechanicaltransmission. Setting a set of automated mechanical transmission road test method.4. Apply the road test on a heavy-duty commercial vehicle automated mechanicaltransmission researching. Analyzed the malfunction and test result in the road test.Validate thevalidity of the utomated mechanical transmission road test method.
