It’s well known that the radioactive degree of material relates to people ’s health. To detect theradio action of building materials, we have designed a system to detect radioactive pulse and energycalibration based on scintillation detector. This system includes detection of scintillation detector, radioactive pulse conditioning circuitand a circuit that consists of a single chip MSP430F1612with12internal AD to sample the peak ofradioactive pulse. It transmits the data processed by the single chip to the upper computer viaRS232serial port, and then the data will be processed by software Visual Basic6.0. It has realizedall-around measurement of the peak net area of radioactive elements, efficiency calibration, activitycalculation, etc. It use Spectrum-stabilizing technique to stabilize the circuit. We have repeatedlymeasured activity of the same sampled nuclide within24hours, and found the relative errorbetween the two measurements is less than6%. Within the range of-5℃to+40℃, as themaximum value of spectrum drift is not more than±2channels and the total uncertainty measuredis less than19%of the index, it can be accurately determined that the energy range is0.05-2.97MeV.The systems are portable, low power consumption, in light weight and friendly interface, and itenables on-site radioactive detection.
