In recent years, with the rapid development of power system, the microcomputer relay protection device plays an important role in the distribution network which is an important guarantee with reliable performance for power system. The research and application of microcomputer relay protection device for power grid in safe and stable is more and more significance.The concept of smart power grid has become the main development direction of electric power industry, which transforms the network and equipment, automatize power network. This paper studies on the microcomputer relay protection device with the function of contact switch, combines the contact switch and load switch carry out the structure of ring network for distribution network.This paper proposes a design scheme for microcomputer relay protection device with contact switch function, mainly includes:The principle of power network and microcomputer relay protection device is researched, give out optimize scheme by analysis and compare the strategy of power network. The function of contact switch and load switch is designed, and the protection model of network is constituted by various values.The major difficult point of this issue is the function of contact switch realizing, the function is divide into five sections like:electric switch on, loss of power trip, loss of power switch, bilateral electric locking and transient voltage lockout. The functions of protection network are accomplished by the combination of models.The main task of this article is compile the functions of contact switch and load switch by using C language under Keil u Vision3platform. According to the characters of distribution network, the functions of overcurrent protection, quick break protection and zero sequence protection for load switch and electric switch on and loss of power trip for contact switch were designed. The ensemble design and debugging among models is carried out after the function model designed indepengdently.The debugging software is designed under the platform Delphi7.0, accomplishing the communication between computer and remote units by developing different software messages. The debugging software could convert microcomputer relay protection device into contact switch or load switch model by the diverse value, and the function of switch on and switch off through remote control and data remote sensing accomplished.The software is testing and amending time and again, and the function of contact switch protection for power network is accomplished in the end.It is indicated by the usage, the ensemble scheme and design mentality of this protection device has some innovation features. This device has features of rapid response, high sensitivity and good anti-interference capability. It is not only enhanced the protection function and extends the performance of traditional device, but also provides reference for the rapid development of the network, involving high application and market values.
