| The paper analyzed the existing wet micro-rolling method for preparing zinc flake. And it proposed two major problems in the existing process. The first is about the danger. Some aids the process used now is toxic, flammable, explosive and harmful to worker’s bodies, environment and even our lives. The second is about the process optimization. Now, we always use empirical and experimental methods to optimize process parameters, the two methods are useful in some situations. But when the condition changes, the empirical method doesn’t work and we should do experiments again and again. It will waste our time and money. So this paper provides some solutions due to these two problems, then optimizes process parameters and validates the solutions by experiments. The paper also compares the solutions with the existing process to find the disadvantages, and then to improve them.The research shows that choosing deionized water as aids can solve the danger existed at the present process; it also can make the grinding easily, stop agglomeration during the preparation, and get the zinc flake whose parameter meet GB requirements. Discrete element method and PFC3D software can simulate motion state of stirring mill. This method can show the motion of grinding media, velocity distribution and so on. It also can link the changes of process parameters with micromechanics parameters, and provide theoretical support to choose the most suitable crafts parameters. In a word, this method solves the problem that we just can use empirical and experimental methods to optimize process parameters. The comparison between the process this paper suggests and the existed tells us that our process is better than the existed in five aspects. They are economic performance, environmental performance, production efficiency, particle size and process optimization. Our process also has one disadvantage about the content of pure zinc. And then this paper improves the process to meet the national standard, and can comparable to ECKART zinc flake.The studies in this paper solve the two problems in the existing wet micro-rolling method for preparing zinc flake, and make real innovation on the basis of the process now existed. The process this paper proposed meets the requirements of "green environmental protection, energy conservation". At the same time, the process optimization not only can use in wet micro-rolling method for preparing zinc flake, but also can use in other productions by stirring mill. |
