By the end of2013, the total mileage of high-speed railway in China had reached10,000kilometers. The train control network serves as the nerve center of high-speed trains. It is used to realize real-time and reliable communication of all kinds of information, including process data and fault information. Redundancy technology is developed to enhance the reliability of train control network. It remains a focus in train control network research to guarantee the timeliness and validity of a redundant network. Software simulation and semi-physical simulation are prerequisites to reduce the development time and will provide beneficial guidance to the design of train network.Based on the semi-physical simulation part in the sub-topic "network control system of the high-speed trains"(project number:2009BAG12A06,2009-2012), it’s shown how a function card similar to the MDM8card used in CRH2train network is designed in this paper. By using redundancy technology, ARCNET communication via bidirectional dual-ring fiber has been realized. With the completion of the system test, the semi-physical simulation platform is built.The main work of the paper includes:First, by studying some commonly-used industrial control network redundancy technology, and combining with the demand for the functions of CRH2train control network, an appropriate redundancy backup plan is designed for greater reliability and stability of the system.Secondly, CRH2redundant control network is established, and the bidirectional dual-ring fiber communication card based on COM20022and TMC2005is designed. The function card is used to translate Ethernet data into ARCNET data and realize the function of data transmission via optical fiber. Single node function test and multi-node networking test on the function card has been completed, realizing ARCNET communication between different sites via bidirectional dual-ring fiber.At last, test on the switch function of redundant network has been completed, the result of which meets the requirements of network simulation platform. The design of the redundant network is an important part of the network semi-physical simulation platform.The research content and train control network redundancy switching mechanism of CRH2in this paper provides certain reference to the domestic R&D of CRH2train control network in the future.
