With the process of industrialization by leaps and bounds, heat pipe technologybecome more widely available, the research of heat pipe is increasing on a world widescale. In this paper, based on a company’s heat pipe project which can produce6000heat pipes each day, the technological process has been designed and optimized as well.Design and manufacture machinery equipment and laboratory equipment on theproduction of solar gravity heat pipe. By the DIY experiment platform compared theperformance on different technology process, optimized the production process.In the beginning of this paper introduce the base theory of the heat pipe, andexplain the heat pipe technology Cotter theory.Discuss the heat-transfer mechanismand analysis the influence factor of the heat transport limitation. The research alsohighlights the heat-transfer mechanism and the heat transport limitation.And then describe the design of the theoretical model, and the working process.The project includes: the selection of the working medium, the wall material, quality ofthe working medium, working process and so on. We have made the technologicalprocess of production and describe the key technology and equipment in details.In this paper introduced principle and operation method experiment of theplatform, based on the platform we designed the heat pipe performance experimentalscheme and data gathering.After experiment processing, we got the effect of each factor on heat pipe heattransfer performance by heat pipe material, cleaning quality, working medium purity,filling amount and degassing process. We have got the manufacturing process; duringthis work we have done the experiment about accelerate ageing, working life, securityperformance ensure that the use of the product performance.
