Due to the special background of seismic geology and geography, in the loessarea of China where is prone to cause the earthquakes and the large-scale earthquakeloess slope disasters. Loess landslides have obvious shape characteristics and pattern.The general idea of this thesis is to disclose the dynamics mechanism of earthquakeloess landslides by integrating the basic theory, field test and numerical simulation.There are several aspects of the main research contents as follows:1. Investigation and sampling of loess landslides induced by earthquakeWe investigated the landslides induced by historical earthquakes, such as1654Tianshui (M8),1718Tongwei(M7.5) and1920Haiyuan (M8.5) and measured theshape and slip distance of the loess landslides and took undisturbed loess samples atthe top of the landslide back-wall where the loess has not moved so far.2. The Dynamic Triaxial Test of the loess from the earthquake landslidesThrough the experiment, under the conditions of different water content anddifferent vibration mode, we can obtain dynamic strength and dynamic deformationcharacteristics of the loess and its effect on the stability of the loess slope.3. Stress response of the loess slope under the blasting vibration testIn order to research the formation of seismic loess slope and its dynamicmechanism, we processed ground motion simulation test of the high loess slope andrecorded the seismic responses of internal of the loess slope, through the record whichwe analyzed the impact on the loess slope stability.4. The stability of four types of loess slopeUsing the FLAC3D and ANSYS finite element softwares, to calculate thestabilities of the four loess slope models and compare the results of the different typesof loess slope under the ground motion.In this paper, we systematically study the disasters of the seismic loess slop andthe fruits have the regional characteristics. The results can be used in several research fields in loess area as follows: the land use planning, engineering construction andecological environment protection and provide the scientific basis for technicalmethods. At the same time, the conclusions are going to be instructive to look atlandslide disasters in loess region.
