The topics introduces the popularization of automobiles first. automobile exhaustpollutants affect our environment, and it has become the culprit. Topics were analyzed todetect the status quo with automobile exhaust, Studied the theory VMAS exhaust gasmeasurement and control system, clarified the vehicle chassis dynamometer internalenvironmental composition and operation mode, and analyze tested vehicle of the force ofthe factors in the chassis dynamometer and road detailedly, and according to the sameconditions in both cases the force, establish mechanical inertia electrical simulation.By comparison with other gas detection methods, VMAS finalized for the gasdetection methods. VMAS exhaust gas detection and control system is to pursue I/Msystem’s main protection. According to the particularity VMAS exhaust emissions, thetopics design VMAS exhaust emissions overall. This topics uses dual-loop control design. This topic according to the hardware detection system, design and write the correspondingC8051F120microcontroller-based control system software. In torque controlprogramming, due to the eddy current dynamometer absorption torque exists delay andslow response, in the changes with time and other factors change erratically, in the case ofcomparing multiple algorithms, the topics choose the adaptive PID control algorithm topredict with eddy current dynamometer final, and the chassis dynamometer function moreaccurately simulate real cars on the road runtime resistance. After the development is completed, the topics to the entire chassis dynamometercontrol system conducted experiments and system testing, and ensure the control systemhardware and software can be completed normally exhaust testing tasks.
