The Research And Design Of DMLC’s Control System

As the development of the tumor radiation therapy, intensity modulated radiation therapy (IMRT) has been more and more used. DMLC is the important equipment in IMRT. Because most of DMLC used in domestic therapy equipments are imported, so developing the control technology of DMLC has the realistic significance.The basic theory and hardware construction of the DMLC control system are discussed in this paper. Based on this discussion, we put forward the design of control system and the whole control circuit about DMLC. We mainly use the Field Programmable Gates Array (FPGA) and Digital Signal Processor (DSP) to realize this design. The whole control system include the communication between the PC and the DMLC, the data processing of the main control chip DSP, the communication and the motor control using FPGA, and the driving part of motor. The double closed-loop of the velocity and leaf position are used to achieve the exact speed control of the motor and the exact position control of the DMLC leaves.
