At present, due to the shortage of energy, wind power is paid more and more attention. However, as a result of the complexity and particularity of wind power generation system, general controllers can’t meet the wind control requirements of generator control system. Wind power generation control system optimization become hot spot and the difficulty in the research of wind power generation technology, this paper analyzes the working principle and structure models of variable speed constant frequency system and variable pitch wind power generation system. The dual PWM converter control system and variable pitch control system optimization control method have been studied in this paper. Concrete research content is as follows:At first, this paper introduces the research status of wind power and research achievements in home and abroad, analyzes superiority of the variable speed constant frequency wind power generation technology and doubly-fed generator. According to the principle of doubly-fed machine structure in the three phase stationary on the coordinate system, doubly-fed machine in two phase rotation axis of the mathematical model is set up. According to the characteristics of wind power generation, dual PWM converter is used as excitation converter of wind power system. In order to realize decoupling control of the active power and reactive power, converter of rotor side adopts stator flux vector optimization control method.At the same time, after analysising of the variable structure and working principle of pitch system, the mathematical model of variable pitch system in different time scales has been established by the different structure characteristic of the variable pitch system, and then the reduced order model of variable pitch system is introduced. After researching variable pitch system dynamic characteristics and control requirements, the fuzzy dynamic inverse variable pitch optimization control method is put forward. Nonlinear dynamic inversion control method changes the variable pitch system into pseudo linear system, which can be controlled by linear system control method. The fuzzy control optimization method improved adaptation ability of the outside change parameter. Compared with traditional PID control and normal linear control methods, the fuzzy dynamic inverse variable pitch optimization control method has great superiority, can overcome the wind speed constantly change on the effect of dynamic function of system and improve the control precision.At last, the MATLAB/SIMULINK software is used to simulate the system. The whole system simulation models are set up by the established mathematical model and the method of the optimal control. The wind power generation units can capture maximum wind energy in different stages by the simulation software. By analyzing simulation results, the optimization control method can make the wind power generation unit capture wind energy safely, steadily and effectively under the different phase of the wind speed.
